Lapis Pendant in Oxidized Sterling Silver

This handcrafted pendant features a vivid oval lapis cabochon, bezel set in oxidized sterling silver. Texture is added by flattening and stamping sterling wire before soldering it to the backplate, and by hand-stamping additional details to bring depth and dimension. The pendant’s shape is formed with the help of a die and hydraulic press for clean, sculptural lines.

Measuring approximately 1¼" x ¾", the pendant hangs from a 22" assemblage chain made from mixed sterling chain, handmade links, and freshwater pearls. The blend of metal and pearls adds movement and a rich artisan character.
